Why Buying ISO 9000 & QS-9000 Documentation Makes Sense

Please understand that Int'l Systems Registrars Ltd. the Author, and Excel

Training the Publisher of this material only sell the Policy & Procedures

Manuals, Levels 1 & 2. The Policy Manual is about 36 Pages, for ISO 9001,

and covers the policies for the 20 elements of ISO. The Procedures Manual

is about 125 pages long with 24 Procedures which support the Policies. Most

companies consider this the Template Quality Manual.

Work Instructions are the how to documents, which contain the detailed

information, flow charts and forms. The Work Instructions were written by

Companies who spent between 35K, USD for the ISO 9002 and 50K for the ISO

9001, to develop and Implement them, in their plants.

My company entered into a license agreement to sell these Work

Instructions, which amounted to a year and a half's work, for the ISO 9001

Manual and the same for ISO 9002, and longer for QS-9000/TE Supplement Manual.

The American Society for Quality Control said they were so good it would

make it too easy to Register with them.

The 84 Work Instructions come in a 2 1/2" binder and are over 1200 pages

long, with the forms and flow charts it's 3.8 MB of information on 4-3 1/2

disks.

To sell all these for $495.00 would be a great deal for you but foolish for

me.

The Work Instructions are $49.95 ea.

The alternative is for you to write this material from scratch for

yourselves, which has been done by teams of people over 1 1/2 years. Take

the salaries of the people who have to develop this material times the

hours they spend, and you will see that the internal costs are twice the

external costs of the project, or 50K for a Consultant and 100k to do it

yourself, with no assurance of passing on the first try. Again If you write

it for yourselves, it will take you this long, and you won't be sure you've

got it right to pass the audit, because the material is not proven, that

you develop. It has never gone through the Registrar Audit process.

With my Work Instructions, and Gap Analysis Audit Checklist, you can be

sure that once you edit my documents to fit your company, and Audit

yourself with the Gap Analysis Audit Checklist you will pass the Audit.

Universities, and Companies have gladly paid $3,750.00 for the Complete

1600 page manual, and saved the 50K-100k Internal & External Cost.

Over Sixty Companies have used my material published through Excel Training

of Cleveland Ohio, and through my Consulting Company over the past four

years.

I hope this sheds more light on the registration process, and the value of

prepared documentation.

Sincerely,

Dennis L. Gorectke, President
